1.The program
ServeCurrent Text Messages are sent by ServeCurrent to people who ask us to text them. We text about your request: your competitor audit, your proposal, scheduling calls and appointments, onboarding, and updates about your account and services. We don’t send promotional texts unless you’ve separately agreed to receive them.
2.How you opt in
You opt in by ticking the optional box on our contact form (it’s never pre-ticked) or by giving us written permission another way. The box says:
“I agree to receive text messages from ServeCurrent about my request. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.”
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We keep a record of your consent: the wording, the number, and the date and time.
3.How often we text, and the cost
Message frequency varies with your request, usually a few messages while we’re working together. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We don’t charge you for texts.
4.How to stop texts
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Replies such as END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, STOPALL or REVOKE also work, and so does asking us any other reasonable way. You’ll get one text confirming you’ve opted out, and then no more messages unless you opt in again. To opt back in, reply START.
5.How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact us: Use our contact form and mention “privacy” or “legal” in your message.
6.Your mobile number and privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with subcontractors that help us provide the messaging service, such as our phone and messaging provider. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.
7.Carriers and delivery
Texts work with major US mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device and network coverage.
8.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder for the mobile number, or have the account holder’s permission, to sign up for texts.
9.Texts from businesses that use our AI agents
If you get a text from a local business that uses a ServeCurrent AI agent, for example a reply after you called and they missed it, that message is sent on behalf of that business, under its texting program. Reply STOP to opt out of its texts, and contact the business with any questions. We process those messages for the business as its service provider.
10.Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date. These SMS Terms are part of our Terms of Service.
