Getting started7

What does ServeCurrent do?

We help local service businesses get found, get called and get booked. There are five service lines, and each one works on its own or as part of a plan:

  • Website Building & Redesign: fast, mobile-first websites built from competitor intelligence, plus monthly care.
  • SEO & Ranking Optimization: your Google Business Profile, listings, on-page and technical SEO, reported monthly.
  • Digital Marketing & Targeted Ads: Google Search, Google Local Services Ads and Facebook and Instagram campaigns, measured in booked jobs rather than clicks.
  • Business Automations: workflows that move leads, follow-ups, quotes, invoices and review requests along on their own.
  • AI Agents: starting with the AI Front Desk, an AI receptionist that answers calls day and night, texts back missed callers, books jobs and asks every customer for a review.

On top of those, optional add-ons plug into any plan. See what the add-ons are.

What add-ons do you offer?

Add-ons are optional services that plug into any plan:

  • AI Social Media Management & Engagement: a monthly content calendar, AI-drafted posts you approve, and comments and messages answered quickly from replies you've approved.
  • AI Video Studio: ad and promo videos made with AI and your own footage, sized for each platform.
  • Reels & Short-Form Growth: a steady stream of short videos, tested with Instagram Trial Reels.
  • Cinematic Website Upgrade: scroll-driven motion and custom visuals, like this site.
  • Review & Reputation Management: review requests after every job, AI-drafted replies you approve, and alerts.
  • Email & Text Campaigns: reactivation, seasonal promotions and reminders, with opt-in, STOP and unsubscribe handled.
  • AI Website Chat: a chat assistant that answers from your approved information and captures the lead.
  • Brand Identity Kit: a logo, colors and simple guidelines.

Each add-on is priced with your plan after the audit, once we know your goals and volume. Ask about an add-on.

Who do you work with?

Local service businesses that run on the phone: plumbers, roofers, landscapers, groomers, shops, studios and similar trades, where a missed call is a missed job and the owner is usually too busy to answer.

ServeCurrent is based in Florida. If you're not sure your business is a fit, ask. We'll give you a straight answer.

How does the competitor audit and review process work?

It's the first step of every engagement, and it's built so you can see the evidence before you spend anything on the fix.

  1. Intake. You tell us about your services, service area, the competitors you know about and what you want more of. A short form and a quick call are enough.
  2. Research. We score your business against 3–5 nearby competitors on 10 local factors: Google Business Profile, reviews, mobile speed, tap-to-call, after-hours call handling, your offer, trust signals, local SEO structure, paid presence and accessibility. We use public information only, and every score carries its source and the date we checked it.
  3. Walkthrough. We go through the findings with you on a call and show you the three fixes that matter most for winning more calls.
  4. Written proposal. If you want to go ahead, you get a written scope with the one-time setup fee, the monthly retainer, the timeline and what we'll need from you.
  5. Your decision. Nothing starts until you approve the proposal in writing. The audit is private to you, and anything it says about a competitor stays factual and sourced.

The audit is usually ready within 3–5 business days of the intake call.

What do you need from me to get started?

Less than most owners expect. Depending on the services you choose:

  • Your business details: services, prices you're happy to quote, hours, service area and the questions customers ask most.
  • Access to your Google Business Profile (manager access is enough) and your website or domain, if you have them.
  • Your calendar, so AI agents can book jobs onto it, and the tools you'd like automations to connect, such as your CRM or invoicing.
  • A Twilio account in your name for your business phone line and texting. We'll walk you through creating it and set everything up inside it.
  • Your logo, photos of your work and your license number, if your trade needs one in Florida.
  • Your sign-off on AI scripts, automations, pages and campaigns before anything goes live.

How long does it take to go live?

It depends on the services and on how quickly we get access and approvals from you. Typical timelines from the day you approve the proposal:

  • Competitor audit: usually 3–5 business days after the intake call.
  • AI Front Desk: calls can usually go live within 1–2 weeks. Texting goes live as soon as the phone carriers approve your texting registration (A2P 10DLC), which can take from a few days to a few weeks and isn't in our control.
  • Website: a typical site of up to 6 pages takes 2–4 weeks once we have your content, photos and access. Larger or cinematic builds take longer, and we'll give you a date in the proposal.
  • SEO: setup is done in the first 1–2 weeks. Rankings and calls from local search usually build over 3–6 months.
  • Digital marketing and ads: campaigns are usually ready within 1–2 weeks of your ad accounts and tracking being in place. Google's verification for Local Services Ads can add time.
  • Business automations: a focused workflow, such as lead capture and follow-up, usually takes 1–3 weeks including testing.

Your written proposal carries the timeline for your project, and we'll tell you straight away if anything slips.

Do I need every service?

No. Each service works on its own, and most businesses start with the one that fixes their biggest leak. If calls go unanswered, start with the AI Front Desk. If nobody finds you, start with your website and SEO. If the busywork is burying you, start with automations.

They do work best together: the website, SEO and ads bring in calls, the AI agents make sure none are missed, and automations handle the follow-up. Plans bundle the pieces for less than buying them one by one.

Pricing & billing8

What does the one-time setup fee include?

Everything needed to build, connect and test your system before it goes live. You pay it once. By service:

  • AI Front Desk: designing the AI receptionist's voice, greeting, scripts, answers and booking rules from the information you approve; connecting your calendar; building the missed-call text-back and review-request flows; setting up your phone number and texting registration inside your own Twilio account; and end-to-end test calls and texts before a real customer reaches it.
  • Website: competitor-led design and build of up to 6 pages, mobile-first, with tap-to-call, forms, local schema, SSL, speed and accessibility checks, and connecting your domain.
  • SEO: cleaning up and completing your Google Business Profile (categories, services, hours and photos), fixing your listings across the web and adding local structured data.
  • Digital marketing and ads: setting up ad accounts in your name, conversion and call tracking, and building and checking your first campaigns.
  • Business automations: mapping your workflow, building each automation, connecting your tools and testing every path on sample data.

It doesn't include your ad budget or the phone and texting usage Twilio bills to your own account. The Front Desk setup starts at $1,500, and your proposal lists exactly what yours covers.

What does the monthly retainer include?

Keeping everything running and improving, plus the running costs behind it, so there's one predictable monthly invoice. Depending on your plan:

  • AI usage and credits for up to 500 call minutes a month, and the review-request software.
  • Website hosting, the SSL certificate, your domain renewal, backups, uptime monitoring and security updates.
  • The SEO, rank-tracking and call-tracking software we use for your account.
  • SEO and Google Business Profile management, ads management and optimization, and monitoring of your automations.
  • A monthly review of your conversations and results in plain English, plus support and small changes.

The AI Front Desk retainer starts at $600 a month. Every plan on the pricing page lists what its retainer includes line by line.

Are there any costs outside your fees?

Three, and we name them up front:

  • AI call minutes above the 500 included each month, at $0.25 a minute, itemized on our invoice.
  • Your phone and texting usage, which Twilio bills to your own account. We never resell phone service or mark it up.
  • Your ad budget, if you advertise. You pay Google or Meta directly, from accounts in your name.

Anything else, such as a tool you ask us to add, would be in your written quote before you commit.

Why are your prices “starting at”?

Starting prices are for one location with typical call volume. Your exact price depends on things like the number of pages, locations, service areas and calls you get, and it's confirmed in writing after your competitor audit, before you commit to anything. Business automations and custom AI agents are quoted after we map your workflow.

Can I spread out the cost of a website?

Yes. You can own it outright with a one-time build fee (from $4,500) and the monthly care plan, or choose a website subscription (from $400 a month with a 24-month minimum) where one monthly fee covers the build, hosting, domain and care. After the minimum term, the site is yours and moves to the care plan.

How do I pay?

You get one invoice for the setup fee and then one invoice each month for the retainer, and you can pay each one online through a secure payment page. Card details are handled by the payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.

Is there a long-term contract?

Everything, including the term and how to cancel, is in your written agreement before any work starts. You'll know exactly what you're agreeing to before you sign.

Can I start with one service and add more later?

Yes. Most businesses start with the piece that fixes their biggest leak, then add the rest. When you add a service, the new proposal covers only what isn't set up yet.

AI Agents5

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. Every call opens with a short notice that the call is answered by an AI assistant and is recorded and transcribed. Florida law requires consent from everyone on a recorded call, so telling callers up front isn't optional, and it's the honest way to do it. Callers who don't want that can hang up and reach you another way.

What happens when the AI can't answer a question?

It follows the escalation rules you approve: it takes a detailed message, books a callback or routes the caller to you. It doesn't make up answers. It only uses the information you've signed off on, and we review conversations with you every month to tighten it up.

Do I keep my phone number?

Usually, yes. The most common setup forwards the calls you can't answer to the AI Front Desk, so customers keep calling the number they already know. We can also set up a new local number in your own Twilio account. We'll confirm the best option for your carrier during setup.

Are the missed-call texts legal? Will they feel like spam?

A missed caller gets one helpful text that offers a callback or a booking link, and every text honors STOP. It's a reply to someone who just tried to reach you, not marketing, which keeps it on the right side of federal and Florida texting rules. Your texting number is registered with the carriers (A2P 10DLC) before any message goes out.

Can you build other AI agents?

Yes. Beyond the AI Front Desk, we build agents for lead qualification, booking and follow-up around your own process. Each one gets the same treatment: approved knowledge, written rules, testing before launch and a monthly review.

Websites & SEO3

Do I own my website and domain?

Your domain is registered in your name, and if you buy your site outright, it's yours. With a website subscription, the site becomes yours once the minimum term is complete. We'll put the details in writing in your proposal.

Do you redesign existing sites or build new ones?

Both. If your current site has good bones, we fix what's costing you calls. If it doesn't, we rebuild it. Either way, every site has to pass our standards before launch, including a fast mobile load time and tap-to-call visible without scrolling.

How long until SEO brings in more calls?

Fixes to your Google Business Profile and website can show up within weeks, but local search results usually build over 3–6 months. Anyone who guarantees you a #1 ranking is guessing. We measure what local search brings in (calls, direction requests, form leads and booked jobs) and report it monthly in plain English.

Digital Marketing & Ads2

Who pays for the ad spend?

You do, directly. Ad spend is separate from our fees, and we recommend you own the ad accounts and pay Google or Meta yourself, so you always see exactly where your money goes. Our management fee is on our invoice; your ad budget never is.

How soon will ads bring in calls?

Search campaigns can start producing calls shortly after launch, but the first weeks are about learning what works for your trade and area. We show you what we're testing and why, cut what isn't booking jobs and put more behind what is.

Business Automations2

What can you automate?

Most of the repeat work around a job:

  • getting every call, form and message into your CRM with the details filled in;
  • replying to new inquiries quickly, with a clear next step;
  • sending quotes, reminders and invoice follow-ups on time;
  • updating your records when an invoice is paid;
  • asking every customer for a review after the job; and
  • pulling together a monthly report.

We start with the steps that cost you the most time or the most missed customers.

What happens if an automation breaks?

Every workflow is built with a failure path. If a step fails, it retries or alerts us, and we fix it as part of your monthly plan. You also get a record of what ran and when, so nothing fails quietly.

Trust & data4

Will you post fake reviews or buy reviews?

Never. We ask every customer for an honest review, with no incentives and no filtering out unhappy customers. Fake, incentivized or gated reviews break Google's policies and the FTC's rules, and that isn't how we work.

How do you handle my data and my customers' data?

We collect only what we need to do the work, we don't sell it, and we use it only to provide the services you've asked for. Your customers' calls and messages are handled on your behalf, under your instructions, and protected with access controls and encrypted connections. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Is ServeCurrent really veteran owned?

Yes. ServeCurrent is owned and operated by Isaiah Ausbon, a combat-disabled U.S. Army veteran with a career in incident response and cybersecurity engineering. When you work with us, you work with the owner.

Where is ServeCurrent based?

ServeCurrent is based in Florida, in the United States.
